Each Thursday, Mothers and Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo gather in the iconic Buenos Aires square asking for justice. Some of them are still searching for their disappeared children and stolen grandchildren.
Traditionally very distant from governments that came after the military dictatorship, relations have drastically improved since the Kirchner administrations put human rights at the core of the public agenda.
However, rifts are now emerging as significant representatives of the movement expose their concern for pending human rights issues.
